Accusation "Dismissed" means the formal charges were dropped after the matter went to an administrative hearing and the respondent licensee prevailed.
Accusations withdrawn or dismissed are removed from this list approximately one year from the effective date.

When an applicant for licensure is informed the license will be denied for cause, the applicant has a right to demand a formal hearing, usually before an Administrative Law Judge. This process is initiated by the filing of a Statement of Issues, which is similar to an Accusation.
